So Don’t Be Fooled

Rating: 1.0

Some still believe there is no hell
That Heaven’s quite unreal
Satan’s a tale we Christians tell
To keep the world at heel

But Satan’s real in every way Lk.4: 2
If Christ God’s Word we trust Mk.16: 17
The devil robs, he leads astray Lk.22: 31
And tramples in the dust

The battle ground, is in the mind
Where demons seek to dwell
They steal the truth, keep children blind
And lead us off to hell

They come to us, through eye and ear
Some lie for years quite still
While planting doubt while spreading fear
They’ll often try to kill

For where there’s sin, the devil’s found
In darkness demons too.- Jn.1: 5
No demon’s shy of Holy ground.- Mt.4: 1
Nor Jesus’ chosen few 1Th.3: 5

Yet still today some flocks are taught
No demons reach the soul
But in the mind it’s Satan’s thought
That keeps them in control

So don’t be fooled by Satan’s hoard
The liars who deceive
Nor give the devil room and board
But tell them now to leave

Beware be humble, read God’s word
Fast and pray, cast out doubt
For though the devil sounds absurd
A fool can soon lose out.
