If only life could be
As simple and as lovely
As a calming wonderful sunset
So pure and colorful to see

It’s as though the world has stopped
The sky’s so bright and sweet
I’m amazed with this vibrant display
It’s such a superb and miraculous treat

Nature’s creative pallet
A brush stroke across the sky
It’s a mystery that’s forever
It almost makes me cry

The darkness of the trees
The rocks and far beyond
Brings out the startling peacefulness
Like a bird’s sweet trilling song

If only our world could be
So simple and calm with grace
Peace would finally surround us
Unrest and evil it would replace!
