Snowflakes Poem by Della Hodgson James

Snowflakes

Little whirling snowflakes
Falling soft and light,
On the walls and house tops
A blanket of pure white.
On the posts and fences
On the rocks, and trees.
Little whirling snowflakes
Falling where you please.

Little whirling snowflakes
Dancing in the air,
Making all the dull scenes
Sight's so wonderous fair.

Little whirling snowflakes
Floating down through space,
Covering all the landscape
What a change you make.

Little whirling snowflakes
Brightening winters bleak,
Little whirling snowflakes
Kiss the children cheeks.
