Snowdrops. Poem by Douglas McClarty

Snowdrops.

looking out a window
On a bright winters day
Under the cherry tree
I see a beautiful display,
Awake from your sleep
You bow so gracefully
In the cool gentle breeze
Like a welcome visitor
Arriving when you please
So pure and so delicate
A sweet shy white flower
Announcing winters end
Pretty little Snowdrops
So good to see again.
