Life is like a snowball, Warren said.
Find wet snow and a hill that’s really long
to prosper. You will never get ahead
with dry snow on a path that’s flatly wrong.

Warren Trachtenberg writes about the biography of Warren Buffett in the WSJ, August 23,2008 (“The Backstory on the Warren Buffett Book”) . The book’s title is “The Snowball, ” based on a comment that Mr. Buffett is said to have once made: “Life is like a snowball. The important thing is finding wet snow and a really long hill.”
