寒湖有雪
Snow the cold lake has
雪停留在寒湖边
On the cold lake bank, snow stays
白皑皑的湖边
White snow on the lake bank
铺满心田
Filled the heart fields
如同白色的哀悼
As white condolence
垂天的幔帐
As canopy hanging from sky
雪尽了以后
After snow stops
并没有古时的马蹄
There is no galloping horses from ancient time

小时候的雪
Snow in my childhood
永远停留在故园
Forever stays in the old country
遍地的黄土
The yellow soil all around
被白雪覆盖了
Covered with white snow
白雪白
White snow white
黄土黄
Yellow soil yellow
同样的雪色
Same snow color
不同的土壤
Very different soil

一方水土
The water and soil in one place
却会生长出不同的人物
Different people can grow
并在飘雪不飘雪的季节里
In the seasons with or without snow
漂流向四方
Floating over towards all directions
就像今年多伦多寒湖冬季的雪
As snow this winter in Toronto cold lake

Floating

我知道土地不能漂流
I know soil doesn't float
甚至寒湖也不漂流
Even cold lake float not
只有这不死的雪
Only this immortal snow
