Snow Cyclist Poem by Doug Blair

Snow Cyclist

'Watch him now'
And so I did
The morning's darkness
Had him hid.
My car just zoomed on by.
'The idiot '
Or so I thought
A fractured something
He near bought
As snowfall
Graced the sky.
But job-a-waiting
Used those wheels
And flakes and wind
The young man feels
He really has
No choice.
As I cranked up
My temperature
His haughty better
That's for sure.
But deaf to Mercy's voice.
