Sneaking Around Poem by Kathlyn Grace

Sneaking Around

Do they know what you do
in the night
when you bedroom light is dim
and snores can be heard

Do they care where you are
when they are out
and you are alone
and nothing is there to tell

Do they bother to ask
what happened
when the dishes are alone in the sink
because you were to busy to care

Do they wonder at night
as they hear you cry
but are too lonley themselves
to come and see what is wrong

They couldnt care less
they dont want to see
how imperfect you can be
and its killing you
and its killing me
