Snail, Snake! Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Snail, Snake!

Snail, snake!
Eating them;
In the name of your tradition and your culture,
But, they are unclean to your health.

Habitations!
With the muse of what one puts into the mouth;
But, we can't do away from the truth on the clean and the unclean,
As mandated for the human race.
