Smyros Poem by M.L. Squier

Smyros

The moray eel
Doesn't eat veal
But otherwise will
Consume any meal
That is found within
Its watery room.
Today I have learned
That the moray eel
Has another jaw
Behind its first jaw
With which to gorge food
Down into its maw.
The moray eel isn't a very pretty fish
But we all can't look the way we wish.
It has quite a scary
Face
But so does the human
Race.
