Smothering Love Poem by April Humason

Smothering Love

Stop holding me so tight
Your draining away my life
You can love me
Just do it from a far
No more blowing up my phone
I can't hit ignore fast enough
Please don't follow me
Your creeping me out
This restraining order only made you worse
Now I've changed my number and made it private
But you still keep calling me
Don't tell people were dating
When I don't even know you
I'm stuck in my house
Cause my life has been destroyed
And you still want more
Somehow as your choking me
I ask why me
So you mumble
I just wanted you to love me
