The beach makes me smile
I love the color of the water
And the feel of the salty air
On my skin

Hearing my favorite song on the radio makes me smile
I'll roll down the windows
And sing along
Just a little bit off key

Seeing other people smile, makes me smile
Laughing children,
Happy cashiers at the grocery store
As they ring up my loaf of bread

It's the simplest things that make me smile
But do you know what makes me smile most of all?
Being near you makes me smile
I would like to smile the rest of my life
