Smile Poem by Sam Edison

Smile

Rating: 4.8

My skin was so tight I was suffocating
You loosened me back up so I could breath again
That first taste of air was intoxicating
I envisioned your big brown eyes each beautifully glistening from the light
From 1000 miles your light shown on me
Stopping me from shaking uncontrollably
My love for you can't be broken by distance
My soul that was damaged you repaired with persistence
Heart felt like it was on trial
But you got me to smile
Thats how I know this love is worthwhile
