small minds
create small gods,
limited thought,
limited expression.

lack of commitment,
limited responsibility,
passes the blame
to untouchable judgement.

a small bird
thought he was an eagle,
till the eagle came,
and killed him in flight!

we worship our fears
out of convenience,
drunkenly beat our chest
with talons of repentence.

small minds,
see only black and white...
never tasting, never knowing,
the color and the sound!
