Slower Than Turtles Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

Slower Than Turtles

Bright lights strange as windows
We run like suns of Neptune
Shine like diamonds in moonlight
Relax sweetie I am only a dream
Mellow as a jazz drummer
Essentials are like ripe fruit
Let it flow and go where it goes
All this organized walls
Let's drive to New Orleans
We’ll talk along the way
I love the way a sax talks
Hendrix could make his guitar laugh
Language is slower than turtles
