Sleepy Town Poem by Harold R Hunt Sr

Sleepy Town

Sleepy town
The town stores are all closed.
No shopping for today.
The town streets are bare
No movement at all.
The street lights are out
Why isn't there anyone about?
Is this a sleepy town?
No noise can i hear
The sound of birds is not even in the air.
The dust is whipped about
As the wind is about.
In this sleepy town
