Sleepy Little Elf Poem by Emillie DeVere

Sleepy Little Elf

Sleepy little elf
Crept into a hollow
Worried of its health
Asked a bee to borrow:
A patch of honey for supper
A few drops of dew to drink
And a blanket from Ms. Bubblepink

Sleepy little elf
Rolled into a blanket
Wrapped up little self
As my mom a pancake

Sleepy little elf
Watched the stars peek shyly
Up above, so far away
Then the moon winked kindly
Off to sleep went little elf,
In a warm and smelly cave
