Sleepless Night Poem by Anna Hardin

Sleepless Night

Rating: 4.0

Another endless night.
Just have to put up a fight.
Can't sleep,
trying, I'll have to keep.

So bored,
good Lord,
please let me sleep,
I promise I shant not even peep.

Misty eyes,
like faint good byes.
Scratchy throat,
the taste of salty sea as if upon a boat.

A sleepless night.
Must put up a fight.
The seen is out of sight,
it is a sleepless night.

Anna, I like it...You seem to have a natural flair for smooth moving rhme-scheme. Wish I had started penning at your age! Keep that pen popping, young lady! ~FjR~
