Sleep Walking Poem by David Darbyshire

Sleep Walking

When you nap,
rest or slumber
you might get up
and start to wonder

you will start a
dangerous journey
walking, stumbling
falling on one Knee

you could go to
the refrigerator
get a glass of milk
for the cookie go back lator

or stumble into your
aupairs bed, instead
then wake up
and shake your head

either way
sleep walking
is a lot better than
sleep talking
that could get you
into a deeper stew
