Skinny Girl Poem by Francis Santaquilani

Skinny Girl

Rating: 5.0

How far away can she take me?

This skinny girl with long braids and

A jack-o-lantern smile.

How much longer can she carry me

Before she realizes I'm slowing

Her down.

How much longer before

Her long braids unravel, her

Jack-o-lantern smile turns upside down

And her skinny legs buckle?

Not soon I hope.

I'll never be far away enough

And I have no intention of letting go.

She sounds like a rock worth clinging to Francis! Sweet poem. 10 from stoic Tai
