The ass has large ears;
The horse has small ears.
The horse looks good.
The rat has small ears;
The rabbit has big ears.
The rabbit looks good.
Which ear- large or small,
Stands for beauty?

Are we talking about good to eat? I think that's a matter of perspective, is it not? It depends what the piece is designed for and the part it plays, and that can change person to person. Nevertheless it is a good comparison that provokes thought, I enjoyed pondering the question, but I must conclude that size is not immaterial.
