Six Am - Poem by Richard Quinby

Six AM
The stars fade away
and I am still drinking
looking for the way

Six AM
The sky turning gray
Another drunken dawning
of another empty day

Six AM
The sun coming up
Still awake, still thinking
of the price I'll pay
