Sirius Poem by Patience

Sirius

They tell the most brilliant lies

White opalizing blues

And they'll wear an elegantly obvious disguise

then pretend that you can't see through

If that most imposing surprise

doesn't fall before the ruin

Till the cycle sines

And the truth aligns

Dream of heavenly stars in revolving skies,

For the sun brings love

while sirius guides

and the gods?

may they shine on you
