Single Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Single

I talk to the walls,
And sing to myself while cooking.
No children in the house to sing to.
No beau to hmm to.

I have to shower in the bathroom,
With no one to shout,
To get out.
I am alone.

I am lonely?
I am alone?
Am I on my own?

Which way you look at it, I stand alone.

Heart tenderly touching, and moving in so many ways, these are words many people understand and relate to, but you should fear not, it is better to live with oneself and feel full, then live with another person and still feel empty. Great work
