Singing Poem by Pezz McEwin

Singing

The drunken state your in
Was not easy to avoid,
The liquor you just drank
Was not something I enjoyed,
The duet that we made
We could have done better,
Even without the huffing
You sounded like a setter,
The song that we were singing
Was never the most fun,
If you didn't have me by the neck
I would have tried to run,
The moment that we stopped
My voice were so raspy,
With your hands around my neck
Still screaming like a banshee,

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I created this poem and sort of modeled it like 'Pappa's Waltz'.
