Singapore's Rose Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Singapore's Rose

By the dark lukewarm waters my bones trembled with each sound of her voice
With every fiber of my being I needed more than what my eyes sought I phatomed forever in mere moments
Every word deeper than the next
Each moment never wanting to end as I found bliss eternal
idyllic
Butterfly wings seen through the eyes
Sights never to compare to perfection
As what I saw quite surpassed
Forrbiden truths
untold
as our eyes conversed everything that needed to be said
Heartstrings gently strum as our eyes said everything
That needed to be said
Lips quivered within each breath uttered from her lips
Temptation brought forth as at that moment I wanted to become everything that seemed illiterate to both of us
Still young as we yearned to mature in each others hand crows feet to the hours hand scattered mongst the stars that blessed this very meeting
We laughed about times past as she saw me as the little boy from times past as I to her
Children who yearn to become the recipiants of each others hearts
