Since Then Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Since Then

Yes love has meaning
The spirit for winning
New soul into fold
To see beginning of new world

I tried to find
When you were out of fear and very kind
I seized the chance
And asked at once

'Will you join me in my crusade'?
You said yes and shook head
It was honest start
And you became inseparable part

Whenever I held your hand
I felt warmth till an end
So long you remained close
I had to adjust my pose

It was well orchestrated move
Now it was on my part to prove
You stared in my eyes and asked
I silently came near with eyes closed

Since then lovely dear
You are so near
My future and everything
Which I had longed for something
