Simply Me Poem by Minerva Montecalvo

Simply Me

I simply love my family
My parents specially
Their love to me cannot be measured
Instead it will always be treasured.

I simply love my life in school
It is where I learned many things and to be cool.
I also learned how to be an independent person,
And keeping struggling on and on.

I simply love my peers
Together we share our laughter and tears.
We've been through many obstacles
Yet, to each other we remain gullible.

I simply love writing
That is why I love reading.
I never dream of a zenith
Because I am already gratified with a fighting spirit.

I simply love yellow green, in this color I feel in,
That is the color of my little pad I live in.
I am just a simple girl
But I'll never exchange my soul with a pearl.

I simply love being loved
With such people, especially GOD.
They tap my shoulders whenever I sob
And always tell there is always a man up above.
