Simply Me Poem by wardha jawdat

Simply Me

Rating: 3.1

take me for who i am
and look at me in the bare
i am a timid fragile being,
when you look at me with such care;
i don't need my chipped armor
i need not carry the burden of wear
i shall be clothed by your smouldering glances
i shall be blanketed with your passionate kisses,
i shall need not this false smile;
i shall shed every pent up tear
and still, appear beautiful
whilst you crease away every fear
i'm tired, love, of these pretences
i wish to dwell in shadows, in nuances
i wish to inhabit your warm silence
i want to curl up content before a blazing furnace
i want to be loved, don't you see
i want to be told i'm a deity

love me..oh simply love me
love me simply for me.
