Simple Poetry Poem by Arti Chopra

My poems are simple
they are words from the heart
easy to read,
even from end to start,
some are sad, some good fun
so simple, that I was thought
to be a child by one,
I sit down and write
whenever the mood takes me,
poems are my outlet
when melancholy, overtakes me,
but best of it is the fact,
there are many like me,
lovely friend I have made
on this poetic journey,
you can almost guess correctly
at the nature of the writer,
if he's calm, or agressive,
a do'er or a fighter,
and of course no better way
to say thanks, or anything at all
when you play with words,
you can have a real ball.
so cheers to us poets...
hope the words keep on flowing,
keep on writing, till you don't know.....
whether you are coming or going.
