Simple Man Poem by Joseph Caraveo

Simple Man

Rating: 5.0

SIMPLE MAN

I'm just an average man, work real hard
always do the beast I can
I don't stand out in a crowd
Don't feel the need to be boisterious or loud
When I look at you I can only dream
How could an angel like you ever notice me
Your the kinda woman every man wants
take your pick
there lined up around the block
Me I'm just a simple man
punching a time clock
Thank God for dreams
It's there you are mine
Even for just a moment
Even if its a dream
In your arms
This simple man
Simple man becomes a king

I enjoyed this very much. Just looking at the world as a man, and not much more. Very cool. Rabbit
