I'm Getting better
at this pathetic thing
some call it a life
but not close by a dream

once I was happy
once I used to laugh
untill your words
tore me right in half

soon I'll be ok
at least I very much hope
but as of right now
I feel at the end of my rope

I think I'm goin
to switch gears in my life
be more serious
cause joy causes me strife

sure I laugh again
every once and a while
mostly at myself
but at least its not denial

its better not
to leave with a long goodbye
your just leaving
I don't really want to know why
