Simple Desire Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Simple Desire

Rating: 5.0

On a way to temple greeted with simple smile,
So sweet and me to follow for an extra mile,
Steps were directionless and just followed,
Passage was so smooth and simply allowed,

No words to narrate the beautiful child of nature,
No ill will ideas mind will nurture,
Did eyes saw it mere welcome for future?
All quests was to end with complete disease to cure,

It had shown me the way how to follow?
High respect and insult not to swallow,
So graceful attempt but to be perused how?
It was open road and sincerity to be shown now,

Isolation and long was about to end,
What an invite with noble gesture send?
I acknowledge it with head down and bend,
Not to show any disregard with gesture amend,

I was not successful in previous attempts,
This was not considered compromise or contempt,
Neither was it planned lure nor pre-attempt,
Natural feelings to be responded with action prompt,

Well said this before destiny decided not here,
It by grace of God and settled there,
We are there by just co-incidence,
Feet simply following her up to the residence,

Still I remember the events to follow,
Steps to heaven and not to gallows,
Happiness all over with natural choice,
No remorse, no regret or choked voice,

This should happen to all who wants,
No help from relatives or elder aunts,
It is not puzzle or zigzag of ants,
Merely a dream or simple wants
