Silver Roses Poem by Tiffany Rose Moczydlowski

Silver Roses

Rating: 4.5

He knows that I know
That he knows
He wants what I want
But we both try to deny
That what we have, what we got
Is just too far to grasp
'Cause we both know...

These feelings are too real too deny
I've been waiting all of my life
To find...
Someone like him
But his heart is conflicted
By that manipulative little witch
She stole his sanity
And took control...

So I sit here moping
Trying to let go
But desperately hanging on...

I whisper of a love I'll never feel!
I try to deny these feelings
That are oh so real
He chose the backstabber
The web spinner
The most sneaky among snakes
And now we'll never know
If we were meant to be

But when I fall asleep
He still enters my dreams

He says, ''Evie, you never doubted me once.
But now I'm stuck in this rut.
I'm addicted to this love and
Breaking the habit is no longer choice.''
His breath becomes jagged and rough.
He says, ''But you're the only one I want.''

Waking up is full of pain
My delusions shattered by reality
He's held prisoner
By the one with only ice in her chest
Haunted by her lies
That's not a way to feel alive

Is the pleading in his eyes real?
Or just what I wish for it to be?
I know he wants to escape her...
But will he ever have me?

I whisper of a love I'll never feel
I try to deny these feelings
That are oh so real
He chose the backstabber
The web spinner
The most sneaky among snakes
And now we'll never know
If we were meant to be

Sitting on the sidewalk
I watch the water flow through the cracks
I wonder if I'll ever
Be able to get him back...
A shadow appears

But there's no way...
I turn around...
Am I hallucinating?
Is this real?
I can't believe this...

He came to me, my dear Aiden!
His soul composed of confidence
Oh, he came to me...
Outside of my dreams!

He says, ''Evie, you never doubted me once
But now I'm stuck in this rut.
I'm addicted to this love and
Breaking the habit is no longer choice.''
His breath becomes jagged and rough
He says, ''But you're the only one I want.''

And then a kiss...
Stolen from the lips that are enslaved to her
''I don't care if she makes my life hell! ''
He shouts
''She already did before! ''
He suddenly hushes
Whispers, ''I just don't want
Anyone else to love you this way.''

I'm washed away by a love I'll always feel
I can't hide these feelings
That are oh so real
He lft the backstabber
The web spinner
The most sneaky among snakes
And I finally know
That we're meant to be

Its a beatutiful poem, and as said a bit long, but I think it needed to be that way so people can see dreams do come true.10

This is very long, but still very good. Quite romantic, beautiful writing.
