Silent Secrecy Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

Silent Secrecy

Rating: 5.0

The moon is glowing in the midnight sky
Reaching its fullest limit…remaining sly
Always reluctant to reveal it’s dark side
Just what is it that you have to hide?

Are your mysteries kept under lock and key…
Can your secrets be bought by bribery?
If the answer is yes…Tell me where to send
What is your address… 123 Moonbeam Bend?

You are giving me the silent treatment once again
I’ll be back to see you next night even if it rains
Seeing you is getting to be a familiar routine
Passing through phases…wondering about the unseen

We have a bond… even though you won’t disclose
You hover protectively …as I get sleepy and doze
I suppose I’ll have to respect your confidentiality
Some secrets are meant to be… kept in obscurity
