Silent Horrors Poem by Melissa Renee

Silent Horrors

Rating: 5.0

The silence from the darkest night
Brings a cold and bitter fright
Blinking here and shimmering there
Twisting twirling through the air
Twining together in sinister thought
Shadows creep in bloody haunts
A flash of silver near your throat
Drops of sanguine seem to float
A piercing laugh shatters the scene
You try to run and try to scream
Unable to move with wide-eyes fear
They're coming for all that you hold dear
Light and life have place no more
A terrible future lies behind the door
You try to hide and close your eyes
But the morbid sight entrances
It's no use for all give in
To evil's seductive dances
