Silencer Poem by Saiom Shriver

In the US,30 states allow silencers
on hunters' guns.
The effects of this have been
more children's and adult
nonhunter fatalities,
more hunter fatalities,
and more illegal hunting
in national, state and local
parks as well as private property.
Silencers keep hunters, nonhunters,
and animals from knowing where
the stalking killers are,
as the animal slayers continue attempting
to silence mammals' cries and
birds' songs forever.
