Silence Penetrating Peace Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Silence Penetrating Peace

Sirens splitting the stillness of the night,
penetrating peace with their urgency.

Following the sound of sirens with hearing,
until heard no more.

Somewhere, someone is hurting tonight, and
prayers are sent in their direction.
