Silence and I are best of friends
More like lovers so to speak!
Whenever a fierce volcano of anger erupts inside me
About to burst walls of my heart
About to explode my veins

She runs with a speed of light
To my lips
With her invisible hands
She caresses them like a lover
With some sweet emptiness
My poison mouth she fills

My burning temperament 
She keeps it on check
Holding it with tender and care
Like a mother to a baby

Have to confess
If not for her affection
I would spend days of anguish
Nursing wounds of regrets
