Silence Poem by Sam Wright

Silence

Silence is silent
Silence is deafening
Silence is the hearing of a heartbeat
A heartbeat that isn't there
A heartbeat that no longer exists
A heartbeat more silent than death
Silence is the key to death itself
Silence holds the deepest secrets of life
Silence will always greet unhappiness coldly

I like very much the part on the heartbeats. Very well written Silence, so important, but can be yet so dangerous. LIke many vital things in life: a lack of it is deadly, too much of it is deadly too.
