Silence Poem by Obodai Sonny

Silence

Silence
He seeks absolute silence
Away from the squabbles of the children and complaints from his wife

He seeks absolute silence
Away from home into the forest
And down a portal to his own world

He finds silence;
With closed eyes and a loud snore,
Only to be awoken by a sound in his chest

Shhh! He seeks absolute silence
Tempers flare;
a pointed tip runs through the heart

He finds absolute silence
With closed eyes and a faint smile
And with this silence he will forever rest in peace
With hopes of you maintaining the silence
