Sightless
I cannot
Look back.
A flood of
Tears...
Blinds me.
I cannot look
Forward...
A flood of tears
Blinds me...
I close my eyes -
And stop looking.
Yet the deluge finds me.
Submerges me
In its blindness,
And renders me -
Tearfully sightless.
A wonderful expression of the spate of emotions that nearly submerged the senses of an individual.
