Sight Of A Little Bird Poem by Oni Omotayo

Sight Of A Little Bird

Like a treasure hunter he came from no where
Prancing he walked with pride on his face
Oh indeed! The jungles has offer its finest gift
He has caught a beautiful bird in the comfort of her nest
Strange and beautiful is the glimpse of the little bird
She is clothed in gussy of the fairies
Her raiment is of colorful feathers
Like she has found her path in the light of the Eden
The gently prey stayed without struggling
In the hands of her hunter she considered her thought
Death be the worst she stayed like she's seen it before
She softly blinks her lids, cleansed in adornment
The array in her eyes is like the crystal chandelier hung in the celestial bowl
Falling through the edge of the stars
She seems to have lost her grace in the sky
Held in her meekness like the fading sight of the rainbow
Her hope is in her wings, though ridding from her
She will someday fly away
Yonder to the glee of the sky
To the gaze of her beautiful dreams.
