Sick As The Feeling Poem by Marilyn White

Sick As The Feeling

In my stomach
I wish I could rinse
Out this bad taste in my mouth
Wash away the black around
My eyes from all that I have
Been through I gave up some time ago
If it was ever going to get better
I am just going to live like this
Sick distant disturbed out of sight
I will be a little bit psycho
On the wild side of darker days
And when the rain comes
I will just let it drown me out
As it tries to drag me down like
Quicksand I slip through hands
Swimming to find freedom peace
Whatever else is out there besides
What I have be for me a endless dream
That never sleeps keep reminding
About what life is like sick
