Shut The Front Door

Rating: 2.5

Guess what word
I heard on the wireless
just as I was looking it up in French:
'picturesque'.
When a word's too that to use,
est pour usage trop pittoresque,
trop impoli,
we say 'whatsit' or 'thingummy'
or the like.
The French choose 'chose', 'truc' or 'machin'.
They're up for metaphor as well,
ils donnent dans metaphore:
perhaps till it's forbidden from use,
they say 'sansospouce'.
