Shrinking World Poem by Nalini Jyotsana Chaturvedi

Shrinking World

Rating: 5.0

World is now a shrinking place
Thanks to all the human race
Every where that you can see
Throngs of people form a sea

They have cut down all the trees
River beds are shrinking streams
Mighty mountains mere anthills
Just sky scrapers give them thrill

Concrete roads
Crisscross the land
No more desert
To travel on sand

I wish world was
Still big and free
With few humans
And fewer miseries

Perhaps you are right. Today's world became croded and heartless ! ! ! ! ! !
