Shower Scene Poem by Kantrina E. A. Phillips

Shower Scene

Rating: 4.5

I enter
Droplets of water begin to kiss my face
My skin glistens
My pores open
I inhale
Breathing in the aroma of the passion fruit scented candle burning to the right of me
Steam engulfs my bare body
My mind wanders
Thinking how much a companion would heighten this experience
It wanders back
I begin the process
Softly scrubbing every inch of my subtle body
Suds caress me entirely
I increase the pressure
Suds dissolve
Pressure fades
Droplets cease
I exit
Clean
Refreshed
Satisfied

A vivid description. Ends up in a good poem.
