Show Me Poem by Suzanne Hayasaki

Show Me

Look at me, my love,
When I touch you.
Let your pleasure show
In your eyes
In your voice
In the way that you writhe.

Tempt me to new heights
Of attentive lovemaking
With every breath
With every shiver
With every kiss you give me.

Let me lose myself in you
Your texture
Your scent
Your need
And then crest with me
In your own roiling sea.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This is my reaction to Dylan Thomas' quote: 'Lie back. Lie easy. Let me shipwreck in your thighs, ' which sounds like as much fun as a trip to the gynecologist.
