Show Everyone The Real You Poem by Nicholas Wayde Turner 24

Show Everyone The Real You

You think you kept it a secret.
You think that no one knew.
You think you were slick.
But everyone knows about you.
Everyone knows what a meanie you are.
You’re just like her.
What’s going on in your head?
What’s going on in her head?
Why do people act like you?
I’m sick of this town.
I’m sick of this city.
All of these memories stick with me every day
You scarred me for life.
It’s hard to say if I’ll ever be okay again.
There are so many people who know what you did.
There are so many people that don’t care.
Just leave me alone and let me be!
