Should I Forget? Poem by Soumita Sarkar

Should I Forget?

Going back was impossible
To forget seems impalpable
The happy notes vibrated
in your company it gyrated
Some shared music still
my silence thus gets fill
Broken faith that I faced
Make that union a waste
Lost ego in same terms
You must get it affirm
A lie that slipped from eyes
In a different costume dyed
Broken twigs on broken tree
Grip that got loosen free
If a bad blood was shared
it must not again be cared
With pure thread of love a bond
Shall return from hell and beyond
